HOLSTER DRAWING 2
PURPOSE:
Students learn to walk with a holster and draw and shoot from various positions.

Drawing to Kneeling Position

Drawing to Retention

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
-
Pistol - semi automatic or revolver
-
Ammo - 150 rounds factory cartridges. No reloads.

Holster - Kydex Material. No leather holsters.
- No Serpa holsters or similar which retention is deactivated using index finger on outside of holster.

Belt - Must be for holstering. Nylon preferred. Thick leather shooting belts accepted upon inspection.

Mags - 3 minimum.

Pouches - 2 minimum.

Safety - Eye and ear protection
Note: If using a revolver, the student must bring a minimum of 3 speed reloaders, along with pouches.
The class cannot wait upon a revolver student to reload. Otherwise, please request to build a class with only revolvers, which can be accommodated but will take some extra time.

PREREQUISITES:
Long Shot Beginner Pistol Class or NRA Basic Pistol Class
Long Shot Holster 1 Class.
Note: Students may place out of Holster 1 by taking shooting qualification exam. The exam is $25 and must be scheduled by calling the school. 201.735.1875.
RESERVATION:
Required. Holster II classes are built by the School Staff after first speaking with participants.
